My name is Savannah Skyi Montgomery, a junior psychology major, criminology minor from Kansas City, Kansas. My platform is rooted in my personal motto, &ldquo;Skyi&rsquo;s The Limit.&rdquo; It is a combination of my middle name &lsquo;Skyi&rsquo; and the phrase Sky&rsquo;s the limit; personalizing it&rsquo;s meaning that there are no external limits on what we are capable of achieving, earning, or creating. The only thing that limits our opportunities is our internal belief system. By uncovering the origins of old limiting patterns and changing those underlying beliefs, we can create lives aligned with our highest potential and desires. Through S.K.Y.I.&rsquo;s The Limit, I aim to promote self-mastery, knowledge, infinite potential, and integrity through initiatives that foster authenticity, wisdom, and fearlessness. As individuals we possess a unique ability to exist autonomously, and when we master ourselves, the possibilities are endless. &nbsp; Each pillar is designed to challenge the mirrored reflections individuals see in relation to their connections with others that negatively impact their self-image and self-belief. Through these pillars I plan to execute uplifting events and community service that encourage a positive self-image in and outside of Howard&rsquo;s campus. Self-mastery isn&rsquo;t solely about gaining control but rather understanding and acceptance of who you are, in order to release societal or environmental expectations. By acting with integrity in every move you take such as trusting your ability to be knowledgeable, you can begin to actively participate in life. We only have one life to live in which nothing is guaranteed. This is why it&rsquo;s imperative that we embrace self-expression so we can live to our fullest potential.
