Sponsorship Information What is the (5th Annual) Hill People’s Comedy Fest The Hill People’s Comedy Fest (HPCF) is an exuberant celebration of comedy in all of its forms; stand-up, improv, sketch, music, and new experimental styles. Right here in Stamford, NY, this festival brings nationally-acclaimed comedians together with talent from the Catskills, the Hudson Valley, NYC, and the surrounding region to entertain and mingle with the local community. Founded in 2021, this year’s fifth annual festival will convene under the tent alongside The Belvedere Inn at 10 Academy St. between Thursday, June 19 and Saturday, June 21 with an 8:00 pm start time for all three nights. Additional all-ages workshops and sponsor events will be scheduled under the tent during the day on Saturday the 21st. Who We Are Organizer Marisa Caruso is a resident of Stamford and the Managing Director of The Party Theater. Co-producer Mary Skinner from the Belvedere Inn is a well-known local resident, business owner and a founding member of the Stamford Business Alliance. Marisa and Mary are partnering this year to provide additional support and a venue with excellent beverage and food offerings. This year’s event is being produced by The Belvedere Inn and The Party Theater, a multidisciplinary performance non-profit based in Stamford. The purpose of this festival is to bring people to Stamford, generate pure fun and provide another opportunity for our community and visitors to come together and celebrate summer much-needed laughter in the “comedy village of the Catskills” The Party Theater is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit in Stamford, New York. All donations are tax deductible. The Party Theater exists to ignite creativity, foster collaboration, and enrich the cultural fabric of Stamford, NY and the Western Catskills. By blending professional artistry with community engagement, we bring transformative artistic experiences to life through exceptional performances, community workshops and new work development.
