Help build a safer Albuquerque, where every community can thrive. The Coalition for a Safer Albuquerque brings neighbors, advocates, and experts together to push for social service systems that meet people's real needs. Since 2020, our volunteer network has championed practical reforms. Our advocacy was a driving force behind the City's decision to establish Albuquerque Community Safety, the first cabinet-level community crisis response department in the country. Where your support goesOur action teams focus on three priorities:

Behavioral Health Reform: Advancing coordinated, community-centered behavioral health systems.

Behavioral Health Workforce: Growing New Mexico’s behavioral health workforce through education, training, and career pathways.

Housing & Homelessness: Expanding supportive housing and person-centered responses to homelessness.

Monthly gifts are especially valuable because they let us plan ahead and sustain this work year-round.
