At The Healing Equine Ranch, we are deeply committed to providing a lifelong, &ldquo;forever home&rdquo; for every horse in our herd. These horses are not just animals&mdash;they are our partners in healing, quietly and powerfully supporting the individuals and families we serve.August, Rose, Cowboy, Violet, Davey, Blossom, Daisy, Moo Moo, and Buddy have touched countless lives over the years&mdash;some for decades. Their steady presence, sensitivity, and willingness to connect make this work possible. Caring for them is a full-time responsibility. Our horses require 24-hour care to maintain their health and well-being, including regular veterinary visits, vaccinations, dental care, hoof trims and shoeing, as well as ongoing medications, supplements, and high-quality forage. Our herd ranges in age from 8 to 25 years old. Like humans, horses often develop conditions that require thoughtful, consistent management as they age. Some of our senior horses live with arthritis, laminitis, insulin resistance, Cushing&rsquo;s disease, or navicular syndrome. While these conditions may not be visible, they are carefully managed through attentive care, allowing our horses to remain comfortable and continue their meaningful work. We rely on the generosity of our community&mdash;our volunteers, donors, and supporters&mdash;to help us provide this level of care. Your support ensures that these incredible animals can live with dignity, comfort, and purpose for the rest of their lives. Every contribution directly supports the health, happiness, and longevity of our beloved herd.
