We are the Popcorn Penguins, a community-based FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) team located in Los Altos, California. We are a small team focused on creating meaningful opportunities for each team member to collaborate on all the skills needed to build a robot. We are a non-profit organization that offers free year-round STEM education to local students. We do not have a mandatory participation fee. However, we do accept tax-deductible donations to help with team costs. We are not affiliated with a school or district, so we must find all of our funding. Previous years' funding has come from parent donations, company matching, and grants. Unfortunately, grants are getting harder to find. Fewer companies and foundations are offering them and more groups are competing for them, but we're still applying. We’re also asking for your help.  Your donation will help us pay for competition fees, materials, and tools. Thank you for your support!
