Ride Forward &mdash; Support the Veloraptors The Veloraptors are a youth mountain bike team serving student-athletes in grades 5&ndash;12 across the Somerset Hills region of New Jersey. As part of the National Interscholastic Cycling Association and the New Jersey Interscholastic Cycling League, our mission is to develop strong riders and even stronger people through the sport of cross-country mountain biking. Our athletes train and race on trails throughout New Jersey, learning far more than how to ride fast. Through coaching, teamwork, and time on the trail, riders build confidence, resilience, leadership, and lifelong healthy habits. Veloraptors practices welcome riders of all experience levels. Some athletes join simply to explore the trails with friends, while others grow into competitive racers in the NJ NICA league. No matter their starting point, every rider is supported by trained volunteer coaches who emphasize skills development, safety, sportsmanship, and personal growth.
