Sutro is truly a special community, with unique programming and services that set us apart from other schools. To maintain and expand these programs, we need to raise a significant amount of money each year. There are two main fundraising efforts: the Direct Give fall campaign and the Spring Raffle drawing and online auction. In the past, we were thankful to raise approximately $40,000 annually, which makes our thriving community programs possible. Sutro PTA fundraising supplements special school programs that include garden and health education, yearbooks, 3rd and 5th grade overnight trips, classroom materials for teachers, events like our holiday festivities such as Fall Fest and Especially Made for You, Lunar New Year Tea, and other on-campus projects like new murals, garden enhancement, and more. When considering your Direct Give contribution, please choose an amount that is meaningful to your family and helps our school reach this year&rsquo;s goal of $40,000. You can give in one lump sum or in installments, and we welcome matching donations from your family&rsquo;s employer if available. We know our school serves an economically diverse community, and we simply ask that you give as you are able. All gifts and pledges, large and small, make a huge impact in support of Sutro&rsquo;s tradition of excellence, and they are much appreciated.
