(FOA) is a 501c3 non-profit community organization (Tax Id 27-1344135) which strives to educate and sensitize youth and adult volunteers to address the needs of the impoverished people living in Central Appalachia (parts of Tennessee, Kentucky, West Virginia, North Carolina, and Virginia). We help to foster human development by addressing the housing needs in Central Appalachia. Volunteers of all ages give their time, resources, and skills to improve the living conditions of people in economic distress. All projects are done at no charge to the recipients.
