Elk River-Rogers Post No. 5518 Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States&nbsp;was established in January of 1946 by returning WWII veterans. Since then, VFW Post 5518 has been involved in the local and national communities supporting veterans, their families, local and national charitable organizations. We have 33.6 acres of fields dedicated to provide free use to local Youth Sports and organizations including girls scouts, HOAs and even a rocket club. We support the National VFWs mission statement, &quot;Nobody Does More for Veterans&quot; by contributing and volunteering to local and national veterans assistance charities and supporting veterans directly who are returned and actively deployed.
