AIA New Orleans is proud to establish the Amber Wallace Howell Memorial Scholarship, honoring the legacy of our former Executive Director, whose dedication to architecture, mentorship, and community left an indelible mark on our chapter and the New Orleans design profession. This annual $2,000 award recognizes a Tulane University School of Architecture and Built Environment student who embodies the values Amber championed throughout her career: curiosity, service, and a deep commitment to building a stronger New Orleans. The scholarship is open to second, third, and fourth-year students enrolled full-time at Tulane School of Architecture and Built Environment for the 2026–2027 academic year working toward a degree in architecture (Bachelors or Masters). Your gift to the 2026 Amber Wallace Howell Memorial Scholarship Fund supports the next generation of New Orleans designers. By contributing, you honor Amber’s commitment to thoughtful, equitable design and a more sustainable built environment. Together, we can open doors for emerging talent and keep architecture central to the quality of life in our city.
