Help make Christmas feel personal—one group at a time. Through The 2026 Christmas Project, you can help Homesteaders for the Holidays remind people in our community that they are remembered, celebrated and loved. This year, we’re taking on just one or two groups at a time, rather than announcing a long list of drives before we know we can fulfill them. We’ll meet those needs before opening the next goal. As long as support continues, we’ll keep going—giving each group the attention it deserves and finishing what we start. Where we’ll begin—and where your giving could take us

Christmas for 21 Seniors: We’re starting with 21 residents of a local senior home. Our goal is for every resident to have something special waiting for them at Christmas and to know someone in their community thought of them. Once their needs are met, we’ll move forward.

A Christmas to Remember: Next, we’re adopting an entire domestic violence center for Christmas, with gifts for the individuals and families it serves and a Christmas party. The celebration will include treats, a Christmas movie on a giant inflatable movie screen, a face painter and Santa himself, bringing a magic show and making balloon animals. For families navigating an incredibly difficult chapter, we want to offer time to laugh, celebrate and make happy memories together.

Local Angel Tree focused on sibling groups: If community support continues, we hope to add this project and adopt entire families whenever possible. Supporting siblings together helps us treat every child in the family fairly, without unintentionally leaving a brother or sister out.

High school Angel Tree: We also hope to fulfill this Angel Tree so teenagers, who can be overlooked during holiday giving drives, feel remembered and know they matter just as much.

Your donation helps provide the gifts and celebrations that bring these plans to life. Each completed goal makes room for the next, and continued giving will allow us to find more people to support this Christmas. Give to help finish the Christmas in front of us—and make the next one possible. How far we go depends on what we do together. Thank you for helping us keep going!
