A delicate watercolor house outline frames white dogwood blossoms and leaves in the foreground, set against a soft, abstract pastel background.

Building the Foundation Before Our Doors OpenThe Dogwood House exists to fill a critical gap for women exiting long-term recovery programs after surviving sex trafficking and exploitation. Many women complete 2–3 years of recovery with tremendous courage and growth, only to face a new challenge: rebuilding an independent life without stable housing, savings, furnishings, rental history, or a strong support system. Without safe, stable housing, many women remain vulnerable to homelessness, unsafe relationships, or re-exploitation. The Dogwood House was created to become the missing bridge between long-term recovery and full independence—a Christ-centered transitional home where women can continue rebuilding their lives with dignity, stability, community, and hope. Why We're Raising Funds for Phase 1Before we can welcome our first resident, we must build the foundation that will support every woman who walks through our doors. Phase 1 is the first milestone in our four-phase plan to bring The Dogwood House to life. This campaign will establish the organizational infrastructure, survivor-centered programming, and operational readiness necessary before acquiring and renovating our future home. Our founder has already personally invested more than $5,000 into launching this mission through nonprofit formation, strategic planning, branding, consulting, and operational development. Now, we're inviting our community to help build the foundation alongside us.
