Project Summary:&nbsp;The Last Favor is a gritty crime drama about brotherhood, family, ambition, and the moment when loyalty becomes a liability. &nbsp;The story follows Emilio and Benny, two childhood friends turned drug traffickers, on the run after an arms deal in the desert spirals violently out of control. Caught between the life he&rsquo;s been trying to leave behind and the people he&rsquo;s desperate to protect, Emilio is forced to make an impossible decision &mdash; one final choice that could cost him his freedom, his future, or his best friend. &nbsp;At its core, it is an emotionally driven story about love, loyalty, and the devastating weight of consequence. Influenced by the writer&rsquo;s Puerto Rican background, themes of family, loyalty, and sacrifice shape the emotional core of the story and the character of Abuela Rosa. We are passionate about making this film in San Diego with local actors and crew, contributing to the city&rsquo;s growing independent film community. We want the film to reflect real people, real places, and real consequences, showing a more grounded, character-driven side of crime stories. At the same time, we set out to make a short film that feels larger than its scale. From stunt driving classic cars to a desert shootout, every creative choice is driven by ambition.
