Help us make the “The Thai Film”, an experimental film created by the Ecoversities AuLab team, focused on the Ecoversities Global Gathering, which took place in Chonburi, Thailand, from November 7 to 12, 2025.  It is the most ambitious project undertaken by the AULAB ecoverists, as it is based on footage shot by many of the event’s participants. It is an attempt to edit together various videos, mostly shot on smartphones and uploaded to our AULAB folder. The goal is to bring together different perspectives on nature, people, dance, food, ceremonies, speeches, and music into a complex film with a unique style. The idea is to create a feature-length film composed of various episodes.  The Ecoversities Audiovisual Lab (AuLab) aims to explore the relationship between author and viewer, encouraging communication through images rather than words and questioning dominant visual standards in contemporary media.  AuLab came to its second edition in the fall of 2025, organising several sessions with the participants and focusing on different issues.  We’re posting the trailer of one of the episodes to give you an idea. This episode was created by Emilio Fantin in Thailand. We’ll soon be adding other episodes compiled from footage shot by many of the people who attended the gathering. The Thai Film | Ecoversities AuLab
