Your Gift Connects People, Strengthens Nonprofits and Builds Community.Every day, The Volunteer Center brings people together through meaningful service. From middle school students discovering the joy of giving back to families, schools and community groups working side by side, we turn the desire to help into real impact. Through our Service Club, Junior Board and community-wide Days of Service, we connect volunteers with more than 100 nonprofit organizations throughout the North Shore and Lake County. As our community's interest in volunteering grows, so does the need for our programs. Your support helps us plan and coordinate volunteer opportunities, provide project supplies, build partnerships with schools and nonprofits, and make service accessible to more people.
