The WasteShed Evanston is on the move &mdash; and we need your help to land our new location. Since the sudden closure of our partner organization, Evanston Rebuilding Exchange, in October of 2025, it has become clear that our 1245 Hartrey location is no longer appropriate for our northern location, WasteShed Evanston.&nbsp; UPDATE 8/25: After many months of exhaustive space-hunting, we&#39;ve found a very promising new location in Edgewater, but we need our community&#39;s support now to make the move! So far we have raised enough to cover the security deposit and first month&#39;s rent, but we&#39;re asking for help with moving expenses, buildout and a (hopefully brief!) period of closure.&nbsp; Your gift helps us keep 50 tons of art and craft materials out of landfills every year, ready to supply artists, teachers, and makers from all over Chicagoland.
