This play reveals the challenges and struggles of women in the workplace and the barriers created by traditional institutions. Materials ($2500): this represents the clothing, lumber, lighting and sound instruments, and the other physical materials we need to buy or rent as part of the production. The fine people on our team are working on a shoestring budget to bring this show to life, and as resourceful and creative as they are, not everything can be begged, borrowed, or stolen. Publicity ($900): This represents the costs associated with putting the word out about our performances and making sure there are sexy photographs of everyone&rsquo;s work for their portfolios. Publicity is typically one of the most expensive aspects of production, so why is it such a relatively small slice of this pie? Because a whole crew of talented members of Theatre of NOTE are doing publicity for us FOR FREE.&nbsp; Misc. (1950): is the catch-all for things that don&rsquo;t quite fit into other categories.
