Theodore was born on August 24, 2025. 2 lbs, 13.5 inches, and loved beyond measure. He had trisomy 18. He was here, and he mattered. When families face the unexpected: infant loss, premature birth, a diagnosis that changes everything, they deserve more than heartbreak. They deserve something made with love, placed in their hands with care. The Extra Stitch was founded in Theodore's memory to ensure that no family leaves the hospital empty-handed. Every Theodore Set is handcrafted with intention: a bear beanie, booties, overalls, and a bear rattle. Sized for the tiniest babies, made for the most tender moments. Your donation funds the materials to make and deliver these sets, free of charge, to hospital bereavement programs for families who need them most. For every baby. No matter how small.
