🐾 THEY NEED OUR HELP - THEY NEED A FUTURE. 💛✨ A future that ends the suffering. A future that ends the cycle of kittens. When Shadow&#39;s Light Foundation was made aware of a group of community cats living in a parking lot, we knew we needed to help. There are approximately 14&ndash;16 cats&mdash;adults and kittens&mdash;living in this area. They are being fed, which is a wonderful act of compassion. But there is a heartbreaking side to making sure cats have enough to eat: When cats are fed and left unaltered, they keep reproducing. 🐈🐈&zwj;⬛🐾 The kittens survive. They grow up. They have kittens of their own. And before long, a small group becomes a colony that is nearly impossible to manage. These kittens also face the dangers that come with living around a parking lot&mdash;vehicles coming and going, limited safe spaces, and the constant risk of injury. We want to intervene now, while we still have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference. 💛 The good news: We have a foster willing to take in the kittens who are old enough to be socialized and placed for adoption. For the adults and remaining community cats, our plan is TNR&mdash;Trap, Neuter, Return.&nbsp; This will stop the cycle of reproduction while allowing the cats who call this place home to remain in their familiar environment. ✨ BUT WE NEED YOUR HELP BEFORE WE CAN BEGIN. Shadow&#39;s Light Foundation cannot start trapping this colony until we have raised the full&nbsp; $1,500 MINIMUM needed to fund the project.That means no trapping can begin until the money is raised. 🐾 Our $1,500 goal will help cover: &bull; Spay/neuter surgeries &bull; Vaccinations &bull; Veterinary care &bull; Ear-tipping &bull; Medications and recovery needs Every dollar brings us one step closer to getting these cats altered and stopping the cycle.
