WISE's first few years of work have been so fruitful in growing relationships with working women and migrant families, and the research we've developed together has consistently pointed to the need for more resources in the area to directly serve the needs of the community, especially working class and migrant women and their families.  Given this pressing need, WISE is excited to invite you to partner with us in launching a resource center for migrant and working women and their families! This center will provide culturally relevant resources and programs for some of the most vulnerable communities in our region toward cultivating a strong community of support and nurturing community care.  This season, WISE aims to fundraise $20,000 to invest in a new resource center and programming that will support working women with securing basic needs, accessing economic and legal support, and promoting healthy family development. Donors who contribute over $50 will receive a free copy of our migrant women storytelling cookbook, Beyond the Kitchen: Stories and Recipes of Migrant Women (while supplies last)!
