🌟 Join us in Creating Change! 🌟 Lieutenant Dan is working to support other Handicapable Hounds&nbsp;in need! &nbsp;And we know that change starts with people like you.&nbsp; Meet Tilly, our newest handicable friend in need! &nbsp;This hound girlie has some significant Neurologic deficits, causing her to be unable to walk normally. &nbsp;At only 8 months old Tilly doesn&#39;t know she is different and still tries to run and play like a normal puppy. &nbsp;However, due to Neurologic changes she has developed severe wounds that are struggling to heal. &nbsp;She is also continuing to have worsening Neurologic symptoms, with no current known cause.&nbsp; We have agreed to help take on this Handicable Hound. &nbsp;We are hoping to help get some answers to her condition, make a plan for her future and allow her to heal. &nbsp;She will be in need of bloodwork, radiographs, a Neurology Consult, Rehabilitation Consult, ongoing treatment for her wounds, wheelchair fitting and to help her strengthen her legs. She will also need to eventually get spayed.&nbsp; February 2026 Update!Tilly is doing well! &nbsp;Her wounds have almost completely healed and she has started working with a rehabilitation team to see how we can help her walk again! &nbsp;It is recommended that we get at least one month of treatments completed and then recheck her Neurologic status. &nbsp;At that point we hope to have a better idea of what Tilly&#39;s prognosis will be long term.&nbsp; 😁 We are asking our amazing support system to help us help Tilly.&nbsp; Every act of kindness, every dollar, and every moment of your time brings us closer to achieving our mission.
