In the United States, just 3% of nonprofits receive 97% of all funding despite those organizations serving less than 10% of the people in need. This leads to a fragmented system that does not produce the most effective outcomes for people and communities, where local led organizations are not empowered to champion what works for the populations they serve, and where problems are perpetuated because of a systemic structure that prevents collaboration and alignment.&nbsp; C-IMPACT&#39;s mission is to achieve a more coordinated and effective human service system by breaking down silos across sectors and empowering local led solutions by the organizations that directly touch the most lives. Our approach to this is we lead a Collaborative of other mission aligned nonprofits, where C-IMPACT functions as a connector and amplifier of each organization&#39;s individual capacity. It is free to join, and we currently have over 50 organizations across 11 states and 4 countries representing sectors of physical and behavioral health; education; care; employment; and social services, with more seeking to join. &nbsp;We then focus on four core things: 1. Building COMMUNITY &ndash; enabling the organizations to learn from one another, support each other, and grow a foundation of trust and positive interdependence to flip the competition mindset to a collaboration perspective. 2. Promoting COORDINATION &ndash; helping the members of our collaborative to see the explicit connectivity and alignment between their work, across sectors to break down the silos that plague human service systems, and within a given sector to serve more people more effectively. 3. Growing CAPACITY - working together to compound the capabilities of assets, skills, and resources across the entirety of the collaborative, as well as specifically seeking out, pursuing, and then managing the implementation of new funding sources that enable multiple organizations to work together through collective impact. 4. Forging CONNECTION &ndash; identifying points of intersection to each other, other organizations, and governmental entities that positions them more effectively to be partners and helping foster those relationships toward more coordinated collective impact.&nbsp;Your generous support allows us to continue to support member organizations at no cost to them; enabling us to focus on amplifying their capacity and creating a more coordinated human service system.&nbsp;
