Design Build Fly at UW is currently on track to for its most successful year yet. We are continuing to innovate when it comes to score optimization, propulsion, avionics, and structural design. This year, the UW-26 Mako will be faster, lighter, more reliable, and more efficient than ever.&nbsp;The Mako&nbsp;will carry passengers, cargo and deploy a banner to complete the three flight missions for the 2026 AIAA Design, Build, Fly Competition in Wichita, KS this April. We&#39;ve had a very busy year designing, building, and testing the Mako&nbsp;to produce a world-class aircraft to bring home first place. Every dollar counts!
