One of Valley Theatre Company's strategic goals over the next 5-10 years is to secure a dedicated VTC facility. While our long-term goal would be to see a community-based theatre house or performing arts center, we have critical short-term needs of a consistent place to build sets & costumes, and consolidate storage for costumes, sets and props.  We are actively seeking industrial space that could meet these needs, and also allow for rehearsal space, which would minimize our rental costs to other venues, and provide a consistent location to offer theatre workshops and classes, as well as small events in-house. Your donation toward the VTC Building fund will support Phase One goals listed below. Current Annual Facility Expenses:<ul><li style="box-sizing:inherit">Storage: $7,900 - $8,500</li><li style="box-sizing:inherit">Seasonal Rental for "maker's space": $3,000 - $4,000</li><li style="box-sizing:inherit">Facility Rental costs to rehearse and perform 4 productions: $22,000 - $25,000</li></ul>Phase One Goal: $15,000Funds will go towards:<ul><li style="box-sizing:inherit">Acquisition or rental of (initial upfront costs) of consolidated space for building, storage, and rehearsals</li><li style="box-sizing:inherit">Moving Costs</li><li style="box-sizing:inherit">Tenant improvements to maximize space</li></ul> Valley Theatre Company is a subsidiary of the Laughing Horse Arts Foundation, and is a 501 (c)(3) not for profit organization (EIN 91-1211173). According to IRS Publication 526 we are to advise you that you can deduct the value of the goods or services you donated.  You should check with your tax consultant for further clarification.
