Get ready to be part of something extraordinary as Hire Survivors&#39; Fiscally Sponsored play &ldquo;Whippoorwill Calls&rdquo; by Gordon Gatsby Griffin and produced by Epheverie Theatre Company launches their fundraising campaign!&nbsp; Every dollar donated to this play helps uplift new works by queer and trans artists, as well as helping create a better, more equitable work environment for BIPOC, queer, and/or disabled artists . These groups are amongst those who are highly affected by retaliation in the industry for speaking up against sexual violence. Together, we can end retaliation against survivors of sexual violence, ensure inclusion of survivors, foster authentic and inclusive representation, and create safer and more equitable environments for all. WHIPPOORWILL CALLS: Logline: Follow two sets of characters in a play in two parts as they contend with death, mental health, and what it means to live.&nbsp; In Part 1, two characters go on what they call &ldquo;rounds&rdquo;. Through these rounds they gain insight into countless lives. They experience suffering and hardship and the eventual end. Through the course of this part they attempt to discover why they are on this journey and what they are trying to solve. The being of &ldquo;He&rdquo;, who sent them on this endless loop, studies them as they continue their plight.&nbsp; In Part 2, we follow two cowboys by the names of Def and Fed. They are tasked with retrieving a body from the desert and bringing it back to town.
