As Bishop Theodosius prepares to depart the Western American Diocese and begin his new ministry in the Eastern American Diocese of ROCOR, we are given a meaningful opportunity to express our deep gratitude for his years of faithful service. Through his leadership, guidance, and pastoral care, Bishop Theodosius has strengthened our parishes, supported our clergy, and nurtured the spiritual life of countless faithful across the Western American Diocese.&nbsp; His presence has been a blessing, and his legacy will continue to bear fruit for years to come. This campaign has two important purposes: 1. To Thank HimWe invite the faithful to offer a tangible expression of appreciation for his dedication, sacrifice, and steadfast service to the Church. 2. To Support His TransitionRelocating across dioceses brings significant practical and logistical needs. Funds raised will assist with moving expenses, housing transition, travel, and other material necessities as he begins this next chapter of his ministry. Every contribution&mdash;large or small&mdash;is a meaningful way to say&nbsp;&ldquo;Thank you&rdquo;&nbsp;and to support Bishop Theodosius as he continues his service to the Church in a new place. A short biography: Bishop Theodosius (secular name Yevgen Sergeyevich Ivashchenko) is a bishop of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia. He was born in Kyiv on June 8, 1964. After high school, he graduated from the Kyiv Institute of Communications. In 1988 he became a monk at the Kyiv Pechersk Lavra, where he studied at the Kyiv Theological Seminary. In 1996, he was sent to serve in USA. He spent the first five years of his ministry in the Chicago and Mid-American Diocese, and was then invited to the Western American Diocese and appointed rector of St. Tikhon of Zadonsk Church in San Francisco. On September 7, 2008 he was consecrated Bishop of Seattle and appointed Administrator of the Chancery of the Western American Diocese.&nbsp; At the meeting of the Synod of the ROCOR, which was held in New York City in December 2025, he was appointed vicar of the Eastern American Diocese with the title of Bishop of Manhattan.
