Wolfgang is one of our beloved senior Sponsorship Dogs who has been with us for almost 10 years Last week, we discovered a mass on his liver, which is not what we were hoping for&mdash;we were really hoping it was his spleen. To give him a fighting chance he needed emergency surgery but because of its location, the team is attempting a partial liver lobectomy, meaning they are trying to remove the mass along with part of the affected liver lobe. This is a very high-risk procedure, and we have to be honest&hellip; there was a real chance he may not make it. THANKFULLY he made it through surgery on Monday (4/27), and on Tuesday afternoon he was able to return back to his caregiver and is handling recovery well.&nbsp;He has a rough recovery process, and will have more follow ups to come.&nbsp;
