Youth Capoeira Scholarship Program The Youth Capoeira Scholarship Program provides need-based scholarships that give youth the opportunity to participate in a three-month capoeira program taught by <a fr-original-style="" href="https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61587536387368" rel="noopener noreferrer" style="text-decoration-color: currentcolor; user-select: auto; box-sizing: inherit;" target="_blank">Quilombolas de Luz Capoeira</a>. Capoeira is an Afro-Brazilian cultural art that combines movement, music, history, and community. Through consistent training, students develop confidence, self-esteem, discipline, body awareness, balance, coordination, flexibility, strength, and respect while building meaningful relationships in a positive and supportive environment.
