On May 20, Homefields will become a palette of arts for children and adults. This event will feature family-friendly events such as nature journaling, collaging (incorporating natural materials), nature poetry, basket making, plus demonstration workshops highlighting local artists and craftsmen. Demonstrations will include: • Leaded glass construction • Loom weaving • Flower arranging • Creative compositions by two Lancaster Gallery owners, Christiane David, <a href="https://www.christianedavid.com">Christiane David Gallery</a> and our Homefields muralist, Steve Wilson, <a href="https://redravenartcompany.com">Red Raven Art Company</a> • The Lancaster County Art association and Elizabeth Patton’s Plein Air artists will be sketching and painting so you can see their progress or join in as you walk our beautiful organic farm.  You are invited to try your hand at a new art form or observe and learn. Music for Art at the Farm will be provided by Julian Harnish, an accomplished keyboard musician and Farm Supervisor at Homefields. Come to the farm to see our new mural and talk with Steve Wilson about how the mural was developed from beginning to completion.  Cost: $15 per person or $30 per family; includes materials and access to all activities Because Homefields is committed to ensuring access to events for everyone, we have adopted a pay-as-you-wish model. If the event cost is prohibitive, or you wish to donate an additional sum to help subsidize our events, you can enter a custom amount in the donation box during checkout.
