Our Vision The Beacon Fund is a centralized, rolling fund designed to support the work of Trans Joy Inc. while helping Transgender and gender-expansive people access the community, resources, and opportunities they need to thrive.As a grassroots 501(c)(3) nonprofit, Trans Joy is committed to empowering, uplifting, and celebrating the Trans community. We amplify Trans voices by creating, promoting, and hosting free intergenerational events where Transgender and gender-expansive people, along with those who love and support them, can gather, connect, and experience joy together. We believe in the power of community, visibility, and belonging to reshape the narrative of what it means to live openly, authentically, and joyfully as a Trans person. When we come together, we flourish together.While the Trans community is more visible than ever before, many of us continue to face significant barriers and challenges. These obstacles can include finding and maintaining employment, managing housing and living expenses, navigating changing relationships with family and friends, and coping with feelings of isolation or disconnection from our bodies and identities. At Trans Joy, we recognize these realities and are committed to creating spaces of healing, affirmation, and celebration.
