Your generosity will help us reach our first fundraising goal by Midwinter! 18Hz Arts Collective is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit arts and education organization that broadens perceptions of science & history through collaborative, creative work in transitional locations. We invite creators of all types working in all mediums to join us in liminal and legendary spaces, revisiting these topics with the context and life experience they now possess. All of our programming tracks integrate art and narrative as teaching tools and allow us to mix and match various modules to suit both the location and the needs of our participants.<ul><li style="box-sizing:inherit">The Creative Exploration Track includes developing place-based art, design thinking, and working with alternative and hidden narratives in a collaborative and interactive environment</li><li style="box-sizing:inherit">The Observation and Organization Track focuses on nature and art journaling, location journaling, environment interpretation, and rapid recording of observations during crepuscular (dusk and dawn) hours</li><li style="box-sizing:inherit">The Research Methods and Analysis Track covers a broad range of methods for collecting and analyzing data, sourcing archival material and historic records and learning to ask better questions for more thorough answers</li></ul> Your support through the holiday season will make it possible for us to deliver the benefits of this type of integrated learning to a diverse audience of creators, many of whom favor non-traditional techniques and subject matter. You will make it possible for us to:<ul><li style="box-sizing:inherit">Fully fund independent study and art residency opportunities</li><li style="box-sizing:inherit">Bring visiting lecturers and guest educators to our events</li><li style="box-sizing:inherit">Obtain materials, research tools and technology needed for on site work</li><li style="box-sizing:inherit">Enable collaborations and information sharing for our participants and other organizations</li></ul>It is incredibly important to us that our participants are able to completely immerse in their creative work at our locations.
