This time, the government of Metro Nashville has yet again overstepped its constitutional and legislative powers. I have been fighting for Tennesseans all over this State, and the establishment has aimed its sights on me. Metro Nashville has a board of people who are not elected, creating laws, rules, and guidelines without legislative oversight.  It all started with Metro wanting to regulate the tourism industry by requiring a "permit."  They wanted all current businesses to apply for a permit without any rules, fees, or restrictions, stating they would make them up as they went along, literally. The people making the rules were appointed, like the non-public schools advisory committee. These people do not have the authority to delegate. During COVID, I started the first lawsuit against Governor Bill Lee for something similar. We started the case because the Governor had powers given to him by the Tennessee Constitution, but he didn't have the authority to give those powers away. This is circumventing the judicial and legislative process to get their way. Those are just two examples of our elected officials not putting you first. I refuse to allow these people to get away with these violations against me or the people of Tennessee. Your help will keep the fight going against the oppressive government we face.  Metro Nashville wants me to close my business until the case is done, putting 20 people out for work. The goal is to bankrupt anyone who fights them. They have violated the laws, the constitution, and the respect of the people. I have not received one ticket or citation legally, yet they drag you into court and force you to await a verdict. What's happened to innocent until proven guilty? The judge has sentenced me to 40 days in jail until they can prove I'm guilty of their accusations. This is absurd, and I will not stand for it. Please help us in this fight as we continue to fight for justice. I will never sell out the people; I will never give up the fight because every problem I ignore, our children and grandchildren will have to face.
