This donation will go towards an effort to fulfill a Refugee Agency perquisite to enable volunteers from two local New Hampshire churches (the Arlington Street UMC and the North Salem UMC of Nashua and Salem, NH respectively) to sponsor a Mideastern refugee family for entrance and resettlement in the Untied States. A US supported refugee Assistance program, WELCOMECORPS, requires a preestablished, support fund to be in place for the vetted refugee family and which is accessible only by the sponsoring entity (in this case the group of Methodist from the ASUMC and the NSUMC) prior to the arrival of the refugee family into the care of their sponsors. All monies in the preestablished fund will be disbursed to the refugee family as needed by, and with the oversight, of their host sponsors for a period of ninety days. Within that ninety days the sponsors will endeavor to support and acquaint the sponsored refugee family with their new environment and to the ways of that environment. It is with your generous help that the sponors of this refugee family will be able to successfully assist the family in relocating and settling in the US to become productive and contributing members of our society and culture.  This donation service is free to the sponors of the refugees in question.
