We want to preserve our way of life, our culture and deen Islam here in the West. What better way to do that than building a house of Allah and gathering our youth around it. We want to raise them in the spirit of Islam and sunnah, and give them a center where they can worship the Almighty, learn about our noble religion, so they don’t forget who they are and where they came from. We put our faith in Allah and rely on you, our brothers and sisters in Islam to recognize the importance of the proposed new Islamic Center and to help us with your donations, your support and your dua’s OUR MISSION Bosnian community purchased the Jehovah’s Witnesses Kingdom Hall in 2011. In short time we renovated and converted it into a Masjid with five daily prayers and array of other activities and classes, such as: Jummah Prayer, Maktaba, Sufara, Weekly Halaqa, Akika ceremonies, Janaza and Cemetery services, Nikkas, Qur’an recitation and Nasheed nights, monthly dinner gatherings...etc. Existing space of 2500 SqFt is already too small for us and we InshAllah, plan on building a New Center with three additional stories for a total square footage of 10,000sf. Existing prayer space will double, and our sisters will get a separate entry floor/balcony space with a view to the mihrab. New building will represent Islamic architecture and at the same time it will be functional and modern.
