The Calm Clinic and Caravan: Expanding Access to Healing The Calm Clinic and Caravan (formally known as the Wellness Wagon) is a mobile nonprofit dedicated to breaking down barriers to wellness by providing free and low-cost acupuncture and supportive services in underserved communities throughout Virginia. We partner with local organizations to bring holistic care directly to those in need, offering treatments that support mental health, addiction recovery, and chronic pain relief. Since launching in 2021, The Wellness Wagon has served thousands of clients across Appalachia, including New Castle, Bedford, and Roanoke, Virginia, as well as Lewisburg, West Virginia. We&#39;d like to continue to expand access by opening a brick-and-mortar clinic in Roanoke City.&nbsp; Why Open a Community Acupuncture Clinic?Opening a community acupuncture clinic will allow us to expand our mission by providing consistent, affordable care in a central, welcoming space. When our brick-and-mortar clinic opens, the completed painting will hang inside as a lasting reminder that this healing space was built together, one flower and one act of generosity at a time.
