The Ellensburg Dance Ensemble is thrilled to present our 2024 production of The Nutcracker & the Battle for the Key, a new twist on the holiday classic that brings joy and magic to our community. Where Your Donations Go:

1. Costumes – 
   Every character, from the Sugar Plum Fairy to the mischievous Mouse Queen, wears beautifully crafted costumes that transport the audience into the magical world of The Nutcracker. Your donation will ensure that our dancers shine in attire that matches the splendor of their performance.

2. Set Pieces & Props – 
   The grandeur of The Nutcracker is brought to life through elaborate set pieces and props that create a magical atmosphere. From the towering Christmas tree to the toy soldiers, your support helps create the unforgettable scenes that make this show a holiday favorite.

3. Backdrops –
   The backdrops set the stage for each act, painting the scenes of Clara’s living room, the Land of Snow, and the Kingdom of Sweets. Your contribution will help us produce stunning visual backdrops that enhance the story's immersive experience.

4. Choreographer Fees – 
   Our choreographers work tirelessly to bring the choreography to life, ensuring that each movement tells a part of the story. Donations help compensate these artists for their creative vision and dedication.

5. Orchestra Fees – 
   The music of The Nutcracker is as iconic as the dance itself. Supporting the CWU orchestra ensures that the live performance of Tchaikovsky’s score resonates through the theater, adding depth and emotion to every scene.
