In a region where journalists, artists, and communities lack a central, accessible, and independent outlet, KDEZ’s programming on 91.1 FM aims to serve as a critical cultural and informational hub that will serve the under represented Imperial County and Coachella regions of California .What began as a small community effort called Bombay Beach Broadcasting Collective has since grown. KDEZ 91.1 FM, The Voice of the Salton Sea is currently seeking donors to cover the capital cost of purchasing and installing our new antenna and 300-watt transmitter that will help us connect all of the communities surrounding the Salton Sea. We are  currently broadcasting  a small signal out of North Shore.  Please help us raise the funds needed to purchase and install the required equipment to get KDEZ 91.1 FM on the air to reach our target audience. Together we can create a powerful voice for the Salton Sea communities, share local news, music and independent programming, and raise awareness of the environmental issues that surround this area.
