Livingston County Choirs exists to provide musical excellence by uniting all people through inspiring concert performances, education, community engagement and support.

Activities to support our mission;

• To enrich the lives of area residents through varied, enjoyable choral performances
  • examples: Christmas, Spring, United in Song, collaboration with Livingston Symphony Orchestra
• To fulfill the musical needs of singers interested in high quality choral music
  • Providing clinicians, scholarships to join our choirs and mentoring to young singers
• To provide educational and outreach opportunities in vocal music
  • example: Scholarship competition and clinician workshops
• To provide an opportunity for the community to support cultural activities
  • Participate in Fantasy of Lights Parade, Holiday Glow, both local historical events
• We are a non-profit organization with a yearly budget of $50,000+.  Although our singing members pay dues to participate in our choirs, their contributions only cover about 40% of our operating expenses: Directors’ and accompanist’s salaries, venue expenses, our high school vocal music scholarship competition, our summer music camp for youth, etc.  Your tax-deductible donation will help LCC to continue offering high quality musical performances to our county and to providing educational and vocal scholarship opportunities to our youth.
