Our organization was founded in 2021 by community members dedicated to protecting and maintaining the 6.5 miles of publicly-accessible, recreational waterfront of the Mastic Beach and Shirley Conservation Area. We strive to improve the area’s environmental health while making it possible for residents and others to experience its incredible natural beauty. As we move into our second year, a key goal is to develop and complete a network of “blue/green” nature trails that will allow people to easily bike, hike and play along the scenic Mastic Beach waterfront. We also plan to continue  partnering with local community groups on clean-ups, educational programs and art-related initiatives.  Another way to support the MBC is by becoming a member.
