Help us to bring you the news of Yamhill County
with a donation to maintain the News-Register news department
Your donation will fund work by News-Register reporters, editors, photographers and independent contractors as they gather, write, edit, and otherwise manage local news and community commentaryfor greater Yamhill County. The work of News-Register staff is “civic journalism” – reporting on the activities of government and education; following the personal and group interests of local people; covering the cultural, social and recreational activities of local communities; and archiving the lifetime pursuits of local citizens. With your support, the New-Register will continue its “Public Access Team” efforts to enhance and expand reporting on public records, public meetings and legal notices. Timely acquisition and use of such information is vital for reporting by all news/editorial staff members, and crucial for our services to an informed public.
