I'm joining a delegation for mutual liberation in Palestine with the folks at Palestinian Liberation Theology - Sabeel supported by More Light Presbyterians and Friends of Sabeel North America (FOSNA). Sabeel is a Palestinian Christian movement rooted in Liberation Theology, empowering communities to pursue justice, peace, and equality through faith, nonviolence, and inclusivity. This delegation is made up of mostly queer clergy and people of faith and will focus on intersectionality and mutual liberation. We will value, respect and honor queer identified folx and will focus some of our conversations and explorations around the experience of queerness in the midst of occupation and its impacts. Your support goes directly to my lodging, meals, and transport costs during the delegation. I hope you will ask me about why I'm going and invite me to share my experience and to lift up the experiences of our Palestinian siblings when I return. If you have resources to share in support of this delegation I'd be honored to accept them and share them with others.
