Who We AreAustin2Palestine was founded by organizers rooted in Central Texas&#39;s justice community, with experience advocating for Palestinian liberation, animal rights, Indigenous struggles, and environmental justice. After reaching out across our community, we assembled a dynamic and dedicated team united by a shared commitment to justice and solidarity, interested in traveling to Palestine for the olive harvest. Together we represent a diverse coalition of backgrounds, professions, and experiences &mdash; artists, engineers, educators, health workers, and organizers &mdash; bound by a common vision of freedom, dignity, and self-determination for the Palestinian people.

Austin to Palestine Delegate Fundraiser

This fall, I&rsquo;ll be traveling with a delegation through Eyewitness Palestine to the West Bank to support Palestinian farmers and communities during the olive harvest. Olive trees are central to Palestinian cultural identity, connection to the land, and food sovereignty. For many families, the harvest is also a primary source of income. We&rsquo;ll work alongside farmers to pick and gather olives, while our presence as international delegates can also help deter some of the harassment and violence farmers face while trying to access their land. There&rsquo;s an educational side to the trip as well. We&rsquo;ll learn from Palestinian organizers and human rights defenders, stay and eat locally, and spend time understanding daily life in the West Bank beyond what can be learned from afar. Part of the responsibility of going is bringing those experiences home and sharing what people entrust to us. I&rsquo;m raising funds to help cover my delegation and travel costs.
