True Blue 1881 Inc is committed to eliminating food, shelter and economic insecurities among HBCU students. We seek to eliminate obstacles that may prevent a student from graduating by providing direct aid, while minimizing the red tape often associated with receiving assistance. We provide assistance 12 months out of the year because the needs don’t stop because of holidays or breaks!  Recently there has been chatter in the Spelman and Morehouse Facebook group around the subject of paying a full year's tuition for six Morehouse students and six Spelman students!  In essence, if everyone gives a little we can easily accomplish this! How amazing would that be? Honestly, the goal is easily accomplished, as this VERY group helped True Blue 1881, Inc raise over $30,000 in less than 3 days for students at Spelman and Morehouse who had lost a parent!  How quickly can we raise the first scholarship?
