1863FWD Care 2 Care empowers Black, Indigenous, and Women of Color by addressing health disparities, advocating for birth equity, and promoting midlife wellness. We create supportive spaces for community healing and empowerment through education and advocacy.

Excitement is in the air! Get ready to be part of something extraordinary at 1863FWD Care 2 Care&#39;s fundraising event. It&#39;s an event like no other, and we want you to be there! Every registration to this event will bring us closer to achieving our mission. Together, we can create a brighter, more compassionate world for all. Black, Indigenous, and Women of Color are facing health crises and it is time to place light on the matter and discuss how we move forward advocating for ourselves and one another. We welcome you to this community forum that centers us in a space to shape a new future because our lives depend on it. If you know a BIPOC woman who has died after child during or after child birth, suffered from post partum depression, was detained in a carceral institution and did not receive adequate care, or you simply reported symptoms to your medical provider only not to be heard--- then this is the conference for you. We have amazing speakers secured so far, Mercedes Wells of Luv to Love (501c3), Tewana Passmore, RN, BSN, MSN, FNP of North Carolina, Josephine Horace-Jackson of Magnificent Moms, Patricia McBroom of Abigail&#39;s Apothecary, Marsha Green, RN, BSN, MS of Metropolitan Home Health Care, &nbsp;Jataun J Rollins, Social Worker founder and owner of 1863FWD Care 2 Care, NFP. Our Partnerships include Studio Yogi by Julia Perkins of Chicago, Chiro One (chiropractic services), &nbsp;Massage Therapist pending, and Carrie Cares Medical Mobile Van of South Holland and the Hamilton Park Cultural Center of the Chicago Park District.
