Today, our full-time clinic:<ul fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;"><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Provides up to 15,000 patient visits annually</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Has delivered more than 141,000 free eye examinations</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Screens more than 5,000 newborns, premature infants, and children annually</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Diagnoses and treats glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, infections, and other sight-threatening conditions</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Provides affordable prescription eyeglasses</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Trains Haitian eye care professionals</li></ul>The clinic space we currently occupy will no longer be available after 2027. Without a permanent facility, more than 500,000 people could lose their only sustained source of comprehensive eye care.Global Eye Project purchased land for a permanent campus in 2025. We have also secured essential equipment and built a dedicated Haitian clinical team.
