A Touch Of Teddy

A Touch of Teddy supports families experiencing pregnancy and infant loss by providing free teddy bear ornaments and hosting remembrance events. Their mission is to honor lost lives, support grieving families, and raise awareness about this often-silent grief.

Join us for the 3rd annual spring Zumbathon benefitting A Touch of Teddy, a local 501(c)3 nonprofit supporting families who&rsquo;ve experienced pregnancy/infant loss.&nbsp; During the month of October, our organization ships FREE tiny teddy bear ornaments to families all over the US who are missing their sweet babies.&nbsp; Let&rsquo;s dance together and raise funds to help send even more families a little teddy bear hug! A Touch of Teddy Zumbathon 2026

On October 15th, Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Day, we invite you to join us for a FREE in person candle lighting, as we participate in the Wave of Light. This event is hosted by A Touch of Teddy, a nonprofit that provides support to pregnancy/infant loss families by sending free teddy bear ornaments during the month of October. This is a simple event, which will begin at 6:00 PM, we will do a simple reading of names for those who chose to have them read, and we will light candles starting at 7:00 PM around the beautiful Coulby Park Pond. The Wave of Light is a global event, where families light a candle at 7:00 PM, in their time zone, as a symbol of remembrance. Because it&rsquo;s done at the same local time across all time zones, the candlelight moves around the globe in a continuous &ldquo;wave&rdquo; &mdash; so for a full 24 hours, there is always a light burning somewhere in memory of these children.The purpose is:<ul data-end="843" data-start="608" fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;"><li data-end="672" data-start="608" fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">To honor the short but meaningful lives of these babies.</li><li data-end="752" data-start="673" fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">To support grieving parents and families by showing they are not alone.</li><li data-end="843" data-start="753" fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">To raise awareness about pregnancy and infant loss, which is often a silent grief</li></ul> We hope you will join us and connect with other families who are also missing their sweet babies, and allow us to say your sweet babies names.

So this fundraiser will help in support of the costs for their mission!

Charity WERQ Dance Fundraiser

On October 15th, Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Day, we invite you to join us for a FREE in person candle lighting, as we participate in the Wave of Light. This event is hosted by A Touch of Teddy, a nonprofit that provides support to pregnancy/infant loss families by sending free teddy bear ornaments during the month of October. This is a small, simple event, which will begin at 6:15 PM.&nbsp;Participants will be welcome to light refreshments, bracelet making, and this year we are doing lantern bags which can be decorated! Around 6:55 we will head over to the pier where we can place our lantern bags, light candles and do a name reading of the babies who we are remembering. After the reading is complete, all are welcome to take their lantern bags upon their departure to keep with them.
