🎉 1926-2026 AAUW Colorado 2026 Celebrates its 100th Anniversary! Please join us on Friday and Saturday, October 2 and 3rd at the Holiday Inn in Lakewood, CO, to celebrate as we look back&nbsp;on our inspiring history and lean forward into a challenging and rewarding future! As a proud member of AAUW, you won&#39;t want to miss it! Friday evening, October 2, FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS- A Century of Celebrating Us! &nbsp;We&#39;ll gather informally for fellowship, fun, and a light dinner as we look back on the history of our AAUW branches through visual displays, and connect with our history as an organization through an historical interpreter presenting Frances Perkins, the 1st woman to hold a U.S. Cabinet position! Saturday, October 3,&nbsp;we&#39;ll open with 2-3 minute presentations from each branch that promise to be both unique and lively, followed by a keynote from Lisa Maatz, a dynamic speaker and former chief lobbyist for AAUW, who is especially well-positioned to share how the lessons of our past can inform our future. Gloria Blackwell, President of AAUW, will also be with us to bring congratulations and guidance from National for approaching the next 100 years. A delicious lunch will include some fun surprises, and be followed by a hands-on workshop with plenty of practical tips on how to advocate for policy change, both small and large, and a panel of Colorado-based AAUW fellows sharing how AAUW is shaping their futures and ours!
