Abilene Boys Ranch Inc

Abilene Boys Ranch provides safe homes and mentorship for boys, helping them develop life skills and character. The Ben Richey Family Program supports single mothers and children, offering guidance and resources for independence and stability.

When you purchase a raffle ticket or join us at the Chili Super Bowl and Brisket Cook Off, you are doing more than participating in a great event, you are helping change lives right here in West Texas. Ben Richey Boys Ranch has been a place of hope since 1947, providing boys with safe, structured homes where they can grow, succeed in school, and learn the values and life skills needed to become confident, responsible young men. With the support of caring house parents and staff, these boys are given the opportunity to break cycles, build character, and create a better future for themselves. Your support also reaches beyond the boys. The Ben Richey Family Program helps single mothers and their children during some of the most difficult times in their lives by providing safe housing, guidance, and the tools needed to regain independence. From learning financial management and job skills to strengthening parenting abilities, families leave the program stronger, more stable, and prepared for long term success. This mission is only possible because of people like you. Since 1982, the Chili Super Bowl has brought our community together with one purpose, to support the Ranch. What began as a small group of good ole boys cooking chili has grown into an annual Labor Day weekend tradition in Buffalo Gap, Texas, featuring more than 75 cooking teams and over 1,000 attendees. Thanks to the generosity of sponsors, volunteers, and participants, this event has raised more than 2,000,000 dollars to support the Ranch’s life changing programs. By purchasing a raffle ticket, entering a cook team, or simply showing up to enjoy the event, you are directly contributing to providing safe homes, education, mentorship, and second chances for boys and families who need it most. Every ticket matters. Every chili bowl served matters. Every person who shows up makes a difference. Join us in continuing this tradition of giving and be part of something that truly changes lives.
