🎉 Excitement is in the air! Get ready to be part of something extraordinary at Adams County Education Consortium&#39;s 8th Grade Career Expo. Registration deadline is Sept. 3, 2026. &nbsp; TWO DAYSWed. September 16 &amp; Thurs., September 17, 2026Riverdale Regional Park, 9755 Henderson Road, Brighton, CO 80601.&nbsp; **Exhibitor Time: 8:00 a.m. -1:30 p.m. (time subject to change). &nbsp; **Sign up your business, agency or post-secondary education institution to host a table where students can discover careers available in your organization. Regional and local partners recognize this event as a pivotal introduction for 8th graders to professionals representing career options in most of Colorado&rsquo;s Industry Career Clusters. &nbsp; The event provides an engaging environment for companies/higher education intuitions to shape students&rsquo; career choices and position them for opportunity. **FORMAT: We&#39;ll use the Exhibit Hall, outside space (skilled trades, vehicles and large machinery) and the Waymire Dome. &nbsp;**5,500 8th graders from 8 school districts in Adams County will participate.&nbsp; *Over two days, students will arrive in six 60-minute waves throughout the day.&nbsp;<ul fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;"><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Students will spend 20 minutes in three different spaces and be moved from space to space as a group.&nbsp;</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Students will be able to move around from exhibitor to exhibitor in an Open House style, visiting booths and speaking to representatives in each space. &nbsp;</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Students arrive in waves of 500-600 students at 9:30, 10:00, 10:30, 11:00, 11:30 and 12:00 on both days. &nbsp;</li></ul>**Business and community support ensures that this event can be brought to the entire county every year. Corporate and small business sponsorship helps cover event costs and brings a high level of visibility to organizations. Event sponsorship demonstrates a commitment to ensuring all Adams County 8th graders are exposed to opportunities for their future.
