AdCo 4-H Livestock Committee

AdCo 4-H Livestock Committee empowers youth through hands-on livestock education, fostering skills in animal care, responsibility, and teamwork. Their mission is to build confidence and discipline in families, ensuring success in livestock projects and beyond.

BuckleUp is hands on and rooted in real work. We focus on teaching kids and parents together so that everyone leaves camp with a clear understanding of what to do at home. Our goal is to make sure every family knows how to study their animal, read muscle, understand balance and structure, and make the daily care decisions that set a project up for success. When kids understand the why behind feeding, exercise, conditioning, and health routines, they develop confidence that carries far beyond camp.We believe that good habits beat lucky days, and that effort, direction, and consistency are more valuable than big budgets or fancy facilities. What we build here is a foundation families can use in every season and with every animal that follows.At its core, BuckleUp is about raising kids and animals with pride, discipline, and purpose. It is about families working together and earning success through the right kind of work.
